Loving On Seniors
Hope Community Church strives to live out God's love and hope in very concrete and practical ways. One of the ways we are doing this is by adopting a class room of 3rd and 5th graders at Madison Elementary School. We recently took the children to Pilgrim Towers, a senior citizen home and encouraged the students to meet some of the wonderful people who live there. The seniors and children loved it!

Learning From Seniors
Our adopted class room had a great time connecting with the seniors and played a few songs on their recorders that the seniors really enjoyed.
Before we could leave several of the children had already invited their new friends, the
seniors, to come to their school to teaching them how to play
instruments and how to knit.
